Commissioned by The Gladstone Hotel in Toronto, this permanent installation memorializes the transformation of this historic building from rooming house to artist-run hotel, by combining the surrounding neighborhood's domestic ornamentation/armament with film noir's recurring motif of the seedy urban hotel.

Exhibited from Tuesday thru Sunday as components of Delivery Service. Each Monday, during the gallery's scheduled closure, the bicycle-sculpture was used to
deliver postcards written by gallery visitors. Over the course of the show, more than 500 postcards were delivered across 18 square miles of central Toronto.
